It’s been about ten years since the blue agaves in this tequila first stretched their leaves toward the blazing Mexican sun—can you picture that?
Agave has to grow for eight to ten years before it can be harvested for tequila production. After that comes the cooking process, followed by fermentation, which takes several days. Our tequila then rests for at least eight months in carefully selected bourbon oak barrels. The most important ingredient in our tequila is, without question, time. The result: a delicate vanilla note and a hint of raw and cooked agave—highly present, with a wonderfully smooth finish.
