Padrecita
6cl Padrecito
2,5cl fresh lime juice
1,5cl agave syrup
5-10cl ginger beer to top up
Optional a pinch of sea salt
Moisten the rim of a highball glass with a slice of lime and dip it into a plate of Mexican sea salt. David Rios prefers a mix of cacao, Morita chile, sesame, and hibiscus flowers – but regular sea salt works just as well! Add all ingredients except the ginger beer to a shaker and shake gently. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and top up with cold Ginger Beer. Garnish with a lemon peel and some fresh mint leaves. ¡Salud!

5cl Padrecito
2cl Cherry Campari
1,5cl fresh pink grapefruit juice
1,5cl agave syrup
Grapefruit soda by London Essence to top up
Pour Padrecito, Cherry Campari, the pink grapefruit juice and agave syrup into the shaker and gently stir. Strain the mix into a glass and then top with the grapefruit soda. If you like, you can also add a pinch of salt and garnish the glass with some mint, a cherry and a grapefruit wedge.

4,5cl Orange juice
2cl Grapefruit juice
1,5cl Lime juice
Pinch of salt
6cl – Pink grapefruit soda by London Essence
First, fill the shaker with Padrecito, orange juice, grapefruit juice and lime juice. Then add a pinch of salt and ice cubes and shake vigorously. Then strain into the cup and top with the Pink Grapefruit Sode. Garnish, serve and enjoy!

2cl Campari
2cl Red Vermouth La Quintinye Royal
0,5cl Pedro Ximenez Sherry
1 dash orange bitter
Simply pour Padrecito, Campari and Red Vermouth, as well as the sherry into a cup. Add ice cubes and gently stir everything together. Then carefully strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice cubes. Finish with a splash of orange bitters, as well as an orange zest. For gourmets: an olive with rosemary to garnish!

2cl fresh lime juice
1cl orange liqueur
A pinch of salt
One lime for garnish
Moisten the rim of the cocktail glass with the lime and dip it in the salt. Fill the shaker with crushed ice, Padrecito, lime juice and orange liqueur and shake firmly. Then strain the drink into the glass and serve.

15cl cola
Lime slice for garnish
Ice cubes
Fill a highball glass with ice cubes. Pour in the lime juice and Padrecito and top up the rest with cola. Stir once, and garnish with the lime.
Padre Soda

Any amount of soda water for topping up
Lime or lemon slice for garnish
Hardly a drink is easier than a padre soda! Just pour the Padrecito into your favorite glass, add soda to the glass, squeeze a lemon or lime slice into the glass and throw it in – ready!
