Artwork: “Memento Vivere”
The Story Behind the Design
Leo has always preferred collage over traditional painting—assembling and creating from materials with existing histories. This approach, rooted in her art history studies, echoes techniques pioneered by Italian and French artists in the 1950s and 60s.
The “Being Free” Series
Her “Being Free” series depicts emotional healing and personal growth through portraits of women surrounded by flowers and butterflies. For this series, Leo raises her own monarch butterflies, understanding the profound transformation from caterpillar to butterfly.
For this Padre Azul collaboration, Leo created a design highlighting the beautiful orange monarch butterfly. In Mexican culture, monarchs carry special significance as bringers of ancestral souls. The butterfly represents:
- Development and growth
- Transformation and metamorphosis Life and death cycles
- Personal freedom and healing
Why the Monarch Butterfly?
These shared principles make her voice the perfect artistic partner for this year‘s edition. For the fourth consecutive year, we proudly present this collection and extend our commitment to creating positive impact through the #RamonPorVida Foundation
Leo’s Philosophy on This Edition
“Through my art, I found my way back to myself and now live as an artist to the fullest. That’s why I celebrate life’s wonderful facets rather than dwelling on endings: Memento Vivere (Remember to Live).”

Padre Azul
Padre Azul was born out of love, rooted in eternal friendship, and driven by sharing the Mexican culture with the rest of the world! The vision of an Austrian man and the inspiration of a Mexican woman – two cultures whose fusion results in the spirit that today savors the most demanding palate in the world. The exquisite beverage is based on the fertility of the land, where the blue agave sprouts for at least 8 years. The noble plant takes its time, and with the passing of the years, our fantastic tequila is born. From harvest to bottling, our tequila is handcrafted in a traditional and complex process.
