Our Metal Skull cap
The one element that stands out the most is our metal skull cap. Waste metal is beautifully cast into one single piece, weighing 270 grams. The skull symbolizes eternal friendship, celebrated on Día de los Muertos, a belief rooted in ancient communities.
Our Handcrafted glass bottle
The glass base for our bottle is produced with lots of love for details in a family-owned factory close to our tequila distillery. We use a mix of new and recycled glass to manufacture this beauty. Our Leather jacket
The leather jacket is an homage to the Mexican „Lucha Libre“ wrestlers. Our bottle wears its mask like a proud Luchador who has never lost a fight. In the back, it’s fixed with hand-threaded lacing through matching eyelets, so that the mystic of our padre azul bottle design stays alive.
Our name Padre azul
„Que padre!” is an expression you can hear frequently in Mexico when somebody is excited, probably for tequila. Talking of tequila, the spirit is made from the blue Weber agave and „Azul“ is the Spanish word for the color blue. So, Padre Azul is inspired by both aspects, merging them into what it is today: magic.
