Benji Rodríguez, a rising star in Mexican contemporary art, is known for his vibrant and dynamic works. His art blends traditional Mexican motifs with modern urban influences, creating a unique and powerful visual language.
Growing up in Jalisco, Mexico, he studied graphic design and attended various workshops, gaining an insight into many different styles and found his artistic home in naive art.
His work is precisely based on the free and soft brushstroke, yet precise enough to create impact. Colors are life, and life is within his art. Most of his inspiration comes from personal experiences and bringing them out and transporting them into the physical world is his greatest satisfaction.
His work presents magical, mythical, incredible and normal beings combined in revealing moments of learning such as love, death, compassion, loneliness, and destruction.
